WHO IS NO 1 ??,Check Out The Top 20 Midfielder in Europe. This season has been something of a ‘battle of the new midfielders’ in the Premier League.

THIS season has been something of a ‘battle of the new midfielders’ in the Premier League.
Two big-money centre-mids were on the move last summer, with Paul Pogba‘s money-spinning £89million deal making N’Golo Kante‘s £30m move looking comparatively tame.

N‘Golo Kante gave Pogba the run around before scoring Chelsea's winner on Monday
Yet all season long, fans and pundits alike have been raving about Kante’s performances for Chelsea, while criticising Pogba.
But has Pogba been that bad? Or is it just that he’s not quite recouped his mammoth feel
Well, according to the stats from WhoScored.com – via talkSPORT – the French star is actually the BEST midfielder in Europe
Paul Pogba has statistically been the best midfielder in Europe this season
His WhoScored ratings stands at an impressive 7.80, while Kante sits a comparatively low 18th on 7.24.
In fact, the best midfielders in Europe’s ‘Big Five’ leagues throw up some truly remarkable results.
Monaco’s most-wanted man Fabinho – a target for Manchester United – comes in second on 7.66, ahead of Lyon’s Maxime Gonalons and Lazio man Sergej Milinkovic-Savic on 7.54 and 7.45 respectively.

Jordan Henderson is another Premier League man to crack the top-20
Idrissa Gueye has been in superb form for Everton this term, ranking sixth in Europe
In sixth is the second Premier League entry – Everton’s Idrissa Gueye on 7.36.
Wylan Cyprien of Nice comes in seventh, with Benjamin Andre (Rennes), Asier Illarramendi (Real Socidedad) and Bruno Soriano (Villarreal) level eighth on 7.33.

The Prem’s next entry comes in the form of Liverpool’s passing machine Jordan Henderson on 7.30.
N'Golo Kante ranks only 18th in Europe according to the statistics
The former Sunderland ace is level with Cheikh N’Doye (Angers), William Vainqueur (Marseille) and Kevin Strootman (Roma) in joint-11th.
Kante even ranks behind Nice’s Jean Michael Seri, Villarreal’s Manu Trigueros and Montpellier man Ellyes Skhiri.
Celso Borges of Deportivo La Coruna and Malaga ace Ignacio Camacho complete the La Liga-dominated top 20.
Marek Hamsik is one of a host of European big-names to break into the top-20
Fabinho is set to be pursued by a host of Premier League clubs this summer
Either way, these stats should go a long way to making people think twice about Pogba’s actual performances.
While he may not be finding the net from 40 yards weekly as he was with Juventus, he is ticking away very nicely.
Better than anyone in fact…
